1 Week till Summer

...and 7 finals. Well one of my finals is for a pass/fail class so that one doesn't really count. But I CAN'T WAIT!

I may or may not have had a freak out last week so my mom sent me a delicious care package.
My care package (which is mostly gone now). Thank you Mom!
I guess crying to your mom does get you things.

Last week I had two practicals. Let me tell you why practicals are so nerve racking. Imagine taking a test and every time you make a decision to bubble in an answer, the professor is leaning over your shoulder asking you why you chose that answer. Plus it is 100 question test and you only have 20 mins to finish it. That is basically what is going on while we are "treating" a patient. Well practical number 2 is completed and passed.

Since we had two practicals, our classmate/friend Kelsey and Tigger stayed with us for the weekend. Kelsey lives about an hour away and didn't want to drive up to school every day to practice. It was fun having them here, but our neighbors didn't love Tigger being here. How could you not love that face.

Now on to my tests where I won't have someone leaning over my shoulder after I make every decision.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel. On Friday, right after my LAST final, I head up to Sonoma for my friend Molly's bachelorette party. I am so excited to see some friends that I haven't seen in a while as I drink wine in a beautiful area. Then the following Thursday I head to Spokane to celebrate the marriage of my friends Nichole and Trevor. What a great way to start the summer!!!

Till then, if I don't talk to you it is because I am cramming for my tests and/or curled up in the fetal position crying.

It's a Small World

I got an email from a friend I haven't heard from in a while. He just joined a website called Reddit. I have no idea what this website is all about but he found this picture on it...

This is a picture of my siblings from 2006. When my sister graduated from high school, my mom got senior pictures of Shelly and decided that we should take family photos as well. As we were shooting this picture our neighbor kid decided to pee right behind us. The photographer caught our reaction on camera. Classic picture.

Anyways, so my friend sent me an email of this website

None of my siblings posted it and we have no idea who did, but it already has 25,000 views

If you know who posted this, let me know. I am curious.

Good night Ya'll

My Best Friend's Wedding

This is the first weekend in a month that I wasn't traveling. I cannot complain about my traveling because they have all been to fun places with amazing friends, but a weekend of nothing to do was needed. Plus Chris was in town, so even better.

Let me catch you up on last weekend...

After a week of 2 tests (after Vegas this was extremely tough), I flew back to Washington Thursday night. The flight was uneventful and I was so tired that I immediately fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Friday morning I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed. It was the weekend of Rebecca and Blair's wedding! My whole family was invited and I told them that I wanted to get there early because the rehearsal started at 3:45. We ended up leaving around noon and it was an Odyssey to get there. Here is a synopsis of my travel to Leavenworth where the wedding was taking place. My brother and sister drove separately, so it was my mom, dad, Chris and I in the car. 1st we had to stop and get a coffee (before we even left the city we live in). In Cle Elum (about half way) we had to get gas and a snack. Here is where the trouble started. My dad's car started to loose power as we were driving, right at the bottom of Blewett Pass. For those who do not know what Blewett Pass is, it is a two lane highway that gains 4,100feet. We had no cell service and I knew I had to get to the rehearsal, so I told (more like demanded) my dad to keep driving. We crept up the pass going 20 miles an hour. Finally we made it to the top (still no cell service), so my dad had to put his car in neutral and coast all the way down to the other side. When we reached the very bottom of the pass we finally had cell service. We called my brother to come pick me up and he rushed over and to take me to Sleeping Lady where we were staying and where the rehearsal was taking place. I was the first person there (in sweat pants), but I made it. The trip should have taken 2.5 hours max, it took us almost 4, but I was there early (kind of) just like I said I would be.

The wedding was amazing. I am so excited for Rebecca and Blair and I was so happy to be apart of their special day. Here are some pictures of Friday and Saturday night.

The entire weekend was spectacular. Leavenworth is such a fun town, the Sleeping Lady Resort is fabulous and there was so much love in the air (corny, sorry), I was seriously smiling the entire time I was there (expect right after the ceremony when I cried tears of joy).

Love you two!

Two Weeks of Debauchery

Okay that is a little bit of a lie. But I did have two bachelorette parties two weekends in a row. Let me tell you about my last few weeks and why I haven't posted in a while.

Although the 2 weeks of hell where I had 8 test was over, I still had multiple tests and projects the next week. Enough about that.

Friday June 15th, I flew home to Seattle to work in a Physical Therapy clinic for 2 weeks. The experience was amazing, but definitely exhausting. First of all I was scheduled for four ten hour days/week. Well, the days were definitely longer than that. I wouldn't have minded the extra hours except I had studying to do. But I learned a lot and it made me remember why I am torturing myself with school. I got to see what real patients look like and actually work on them (just a little).

The most exhausting (but fun) part of my two weeks home was my back to back bachelorette parties. The first bachelorette party was in Friday Harbor (San Juan Island) for Ms. Rebecca Mandell.
The Woman of the hour before heading out!
Elisa (Rebecca's sister/maid of honor) did an amazing job of organizing the perfect party for the bride.  We stayed at the cutest hotel right in downtown Friday Harbor: http://www.earthboxinn.com/ I highly suggest checking it out.
It included Karaoke
A bike ride
A trip to a winery
And of course, A little Penis paraphernalia
Hey, what is a bachelorette party without a little penis? The weekend was pretty much perfect. Great company, wonderful food and a hell of a good time. Plus, it was so perfectly Rebecca.

The next weekend was Nichole's bachelorette party in Vegas. I had an equally as amazing of time, but it was definitely completely different. Here are some (appropriate) pictures to show

The View from our room (and our pool)
The Crew

Clubbing at the Marquee
Chillin by the pool

 Our Cabana

I don't know?

 Pretty Ladies
the Woodruff Sisters

Now it is back to reality. I may have had a test today (Monday) and it may not have gone very well. But hey, my two weekends home were AMAZBALLS!
